When I was in the first grade, my teacher reached her wits’ end with me and put me in a corner to fill a piece of lined paper with the words “I will not talk in class. I will not talk in class. I will not talk in class.”
Twenty years later, my mouth had gotten me in so much trouble that I virtually stopped talking outside my own home and work, for fear of saying the wrong thing. I realized it had gone a little too far when I made what I thought was a characteristic little quip, and a women I’d known for three years gasped and said, “Bee! That was funny! I didn’t even know you HAD a sense of humor!”
There must be a happy medium, and I think this is a good place to put all those extra words. Also, I like cookies.
So, if you like words and cookies, welcome! If you don’t … POOR YOU!
Welcome to blogworld. It’s fun, it’s free, and it’s a great place to meet new friends. Bonus is you get to express yourself through writing, as well. A very good outlet, really.
Enjoy blogging!

Aren’t these sites a great place to let those quips fly? I can relieve enough internal verbal pressure on my blog to keep myself out of trouble in the real world. good luck with yours!
thanks for stopping by and commenting….I too think I am fine, but thank you for offering a second opinion…..and by the way, I LOVE snark AND cookies too.
Yeah! I like your “about”–at my house, we call that “oops of the mouth”…Social tourettes. I roll with it. :)

I wanted to refer you to this interesting blog post which is somewhat pertinent to you. You may have seen it on Freshly Pressed already. http://bgoodscience.wordpress.com/2011/02/25/neuroscience-cases-the-man-who-could-not-forget/
That was really interesting! And quite pertinent – I don’t have the memory like that, but I do have mild synaesthesia, and I have gotten really fascinated with it the more I’ve learned about it. Thank you for the link!
